Moalboal, Cebu
Moalboal is a 4th class municipality of the province of Cebu, Philippines. Majority of the people in Moalboal are known to have Boholanon descents and a good number have a mix of Austronesian, Spanish and Chinese ancestry. A few members of cultural minorities called the Bajaus have also found their way to the shores of Moalboal and can often be seen in the streets especially during the holiday seasons.
The dominant language is Cebuano but many subtle differences in some words and intonations can be noted due to the separation by several mountain ranges from their Northern neighbors.
