Legislative Districts

The Province of Cebu was originally divided into 7 Legislative Districts. On 1972 it was reduced to 6 districts and in 1987, Cebu City was given its own representation in the Congress. In 2010, along with the passing of Republic Act 9726, Lapu-Lapu City was separated from the 6th District to form its own Congressional District.
